Twylite smiled as she looked at her older companion. She nodded her head approvingly. She blushed when she heard what Isabella had said to her. She wasn't sure how to take the comment, she never actually was told by anyone that she was pretty or complimented her look.
"T-thank you. you look fine yourself," she said as her face cooled.
She looked down at the dress and went over to the mirrors, when she looked at her reflection she frowned. She didn't like the person in front of her. Oh sure she was beautiful, but it wasn't-it wasn't her. This was the shell she wore to hide what she was really like, and what she really wanted to do. Sighing she began fiddling with the necklace around her neck. She liked simple things and this was as complex as they came. Though she did like the dress since it was something she would wear more than once.
"Jazz! How much do I owe you for the dress and necklace?" the teenager asked a smile playing on her lips.
The middle aged shop keeper blinked at the female and smiled as the question registered in her head. "Deary I told you that the next time you came 'round I'd give you whatever you wanted free of charge. It's the least I can do for ya since you helped me and my family out," She stated waving a hand in the air.
Twylite shook her head and pulled out her purse. She pulled out seven gold coins that was more than enough for the dress and necklace. She dropped them on the counter knowing the woman wouldn't accept them any other way. "Are you ready to go to the next place Isabella?"

It took a few more minutes for Isabella to fully accept the kindness Twylite had shown her. She looked at the full ensemble she wore and took great pleasure in it, knowing that it had been put together by eyes looking upon her, rather than her own tastes found in a reflection. Finally satisfied with the result, Isabella gathered up her belongings and proceeded to find Jazz.
"This is remarkable," Isabella said. "I'll have to keep the two of you in mind the next time I need a new outfit." With little hesitation, Isabella brought forth her own coin to pay for her purchases. She wasn't going to bother changing back though. The idea of wearing something new of a store made her feel like she was a better class of person. Isabella also knew that others might notice and think the same thing.
As they stepped outside, Twylite asked, "Are you ready to go to the next place Isabella?"
Nodding, Isabella said, "Certainly. There's still a fair bit of light left in the day. Let's make the most of it."
Her thoughts kept going back to the notion of both ladies wearing new clothes, fresh from the store. Who knew what onlookers there might be, or who might want to engage such ladies? Isabella was sure they both could keep their wits about them, especially with the heavy foot traffic and soft afternoon light upon them.
A game was daring to form in Isabella's mind. A simple competition to see who might receive someone's advances first. Of course, it was a bit petty, but Isabella was curious, she just had to see what would happen. Even if Twylite were to be noticed first--and she had every possibility of that--Isabella wanted to see who and what would come forward.
"Did you have any particular destination in mind?" Isabella asked. "Or would a walk through the streets be enough to satisfy your ambitions for the day?"

Twylite smiled and began to make her way down the street, her dress was comfortable and one that she'd wear more than just today. It might have also been because she picked it out, rather than having her father hire someone to come to the house and fit her into a hideous, uncomfortable creation that was called a dress.
She never understood why her father always had someone come over, especially since it was clear she had been going off on her own without a parasol. "A walk will suffice. I am up for any suggestions though, as it is I've been quiet bored lately and have yet to stumble onto anything fun," she remarked squinting her eyes and looking about.
She turned to her companion and smiled softly. "Do you happen to have any suggestions or ideas?"
